Brendan x Emma.

Emma jumped up and down excitedly.

She hugged Brendan tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank youu!"

Brendan hugged back, jumping with her, "Heh. Just goes so show how much I love ya."

She smiled sweetly at Brendan.

After getting all her stuff packed, she fell back onto the bed and sighed happily.

Brendan got his baggage and carried the cage he put Kovu in.

"Let's do this."

Emma smiles.

"Alright. Lets haul ass."

Brendan grinned, he was sizing Emma up right.

(You wanna timeskip and describe what's going to happen in America? I'll just go with it.)

The couple arrived to America after the long plane ride. When they entered the airport of New York, Emma remembers home, and since she was here, they'd probably end up visiting.

When I said 'travel the world,' I didn't exactly mean America. But Brendan seemed excited about it. So I don't mind.

Emma sighs, she was tired.

Then, another thought came to her mind, Brendan hasn't really met my parents yet...I wonder if he'd want to...Who knows how that'd go?..

She continues thinking to herself as they wait for their luggage to come out of the spinny thingy.

As time perpetuated, eventually Brendan was able to receive the couple's luggage from the baggage carousel. He saw that Kovu was in good condition in the kennel, albeit his eyes expressing a dissonance of rapture and trepidation. He stood abreast from Emma, and was conceived that something was wrong with her. Brendan gently placed the baggage down, his gaze fixed upon his wife with great solicitude.

You know, I always thought I'd be a good husband. But it seems like I'm reverting to my old childish habits by doing what I want to do and not what Emma wants to do...

"Is anything wrong, Emma?" The question itself was a troubling one for Brendan to ask. He would make his mental soliloquy by rehearsing overwrought phases among the lines of "what am I doing wrong?" which most husbands typically think of when their wife is acting in an unnerving way for such improvident males to tactfully parse. It was irrevocable to return back to England now that the duo stepped afoot the metropolitan city of New York. Brendan would have to look the capricious decision he made for himself and Emma in the eye, as he made so many for himself in the past.

"Hm? No, everything's fine. Why?" she asked, surprised that Brendan would ask such a question.

She's lying, she's lying, she's lying...

Brendan's thoughts began to race forward at the speed of light. He felt contrite about everything. Although relationships were somewhat severed and incorrigible with his family, he had been invited to stay with his father in London. From there, his inauthentic heyday occurred when he serendipitously encountered Emma at Big Ben. His mania bore him an unstable way of thinking, such as beating to his father unconscious. He let his irrational jealousy get the best of him in an adversary's pretense, who was not really an actual enemy, but Brendan was distorted into thinking so. But worst of all, his antics festered into threatening suicide, which took an emotional toll on everyone he cared for. Yes, all these was among Brendan's inundating theatrics. He often wondered why Emma could be content with a guy whose shortcomings were as large as his myopic wit.

Emma sees the concern in Brendan's face, she smiled warmly.

"Really Brendan, nothing's wrong. It's sweet of you to be concerned, but there's really nothing to be worried about."

(Neither can I, honestly. Nah, it's okay. Devin was Anne's husband, since their secret was that they were married, I think. I will tone it down for you. -has had too much coffee-)

Brendan's nonsensical thoughts drained. Emma did love him, after all. He wanted to believe Emma, but his slight optimism was fraught with some insecurity.

"Are you sure?"

Emma kissed Brendan's lips casually.
"I'm positive" she said with a smile.

Brendan kissed back, not wanting to reveal his true anxiety.

"So...America..."

"Yup, America." Emma repeated. "Where do you want to go first?"

"Well..."
She looked over at a nearby clock on the wall, the time was different from that on her phone.
"..I'm kinda tired and it seems a little late to do anything in particular. Maybe we can just grab a bite to eat and find a hotel for the night."

Brendan nods.

"Yeah, I can deal with that."

"Alrighty."
The couple leave the airport and catch a taxi. They make their way to [insert restaurant here].

After they arrived in a Thai restaurant, Brendan ordered mostly everything.

"And a little bit of this! And I'll I have this. And I gotta have this plate, too!"

The waiter raised an eyebrow.

"How are you even going to pay for all this?"

"I'm not! Just give me that one special, and a little something for the lady."

Emma, slightly embarrassed of Brendan,managed to deal with it.

She asks for a salad and water.

After Brendan finished making a spectacle of himself, he eyed Emma's food.

"You don't like Thai?"
